2018 Annual NWR Meetup - Discussion

Post by SkyviewGuru
Is anyone interested in getting together for dinner on Friday night before the meetup (May 4)? I'm planning to arrive in Boise in the afternoon.

Waze only covers one night for local meet ups.
I am open to either night, planning on staying through the weekend, and eating every night :D

Might be driving out with the family. Unsure if that makes me more available for a Friday night dinner, or less so :D . But mark me interested.

Boise weather may be rainy early May but will be nice otherwise. Probably 70s for the high, mid 40s-low 50s for the low.

It has come to my attention that an advanced training that I have been highly anticipating has happened to choose, of all the dates in the calendar, May 2-May 4 and it's in Myrtle Beach. I really would like to go to that training but that would make it impossible for me to attend dinner Friday night in Boise.

I would like to see how many would be able to go Saturday night for dinner instead (or also, but I just would miss Friday if I go to this training).

Depending on my flight, I'd be up for dinner on Friday night.

Sure! I plan on taking the day off to fly out there on Friday. No telling when I will get there but that sounds like a plan if I don't have to be elsewhere at the same time.

Thanks, guess riding the bike is out of the question :(
Didn't even think of that. If I had rain gear I might consider it but that's a long trip for me. Even with grip warmers. :D

I'm up for anything right now unless something "official" is scheduled. When the travel arrangements are made, I plan on flying out Sunday (unless they only pay for 1 night's stay).
