Roadside Ignition Research
Hello Wazers,
I am a research associate at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and partnering with Stanford on a roadside ignition study. We are currently working with several county, state, federal, and private, natural resource management agencies in and around Central and southern California. We have plans to track the correlation between stopped vehicles and corresponding roadside ignitions during specific weather events this fire season. I was hoping I could get a live information feed of reported hazards for specific stretches of roads that are in our study for the fire season. We have hopes to publish and would love to list Waze as a contributor!
Best Regards,
Jesse
