Problems Report Tool - https://wmebr.info

Post by ronsek57
This website/tool was originally designed to detect URs in a large area without the need to manually scan it. By now it shows URs, PURs, MPs and also includes a list of map comments, closures and alerts. It is freely usable, already covering several countries on Americas, Europe, parts of Africa and Asia.

To start using it, just choose your country on the home page: https://wmebr.info
As you check the reports you will find clickable columns which will open a more detailed report, the WME or even the LiveMap.

If your country is not currently supported and you would like to use the tool, please post your request or send me a PM and I'll try to accommodate it.

This is work in progress and all constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome. If any script author wants to collaborate with the project, one pending idea is a "Feed" script grabbing the desired data on a format to be agreed.

Hi!

It you used the tool to open WME the grid should be refreshed in about 15 minutes. Otherwise will have to wait for the next scan in the area.

Regards,

Ronald

How long does it take to refresh those PURs listed that has already be attended to?

I find that I will still see the attended open PURs even though I try to refresh my browser.

Is there anyway to remove those PURs that has already been attended to when we refresh our browser or better still a one click button to do it? :)

Olá Louis!

Thanks for the info about the AVIRA Chrome browser - this may help others in the same situation.

This is teamwork and the support of Team India and all other communities is the feedback we need to keep it going.

Regards,

Ronald

wow that was quick. :o Was experiencing technical difficulty at first. Traced the culprit to AVIRA Chrome browser extension. It was preventing the script from loading data. Had to turn AVIRA (browser extension) off.

Outstanding Tool indeed. You sir have created order from chaos.
on behalf of the Philippine community our heartfelt appreciation.

Obrigado senhor

Hi, would love to test this if we could kindly ask coverage for the Philippines.
Looking forward to this great tool.

That's the way it's right now.
But I admit this is a questionable behavior.
Perhaps should only open a new window when opening another application, like WME or LiveMap?

Thanks,

Ronald

One question so far. Is it my computer or the program that is opening a new tab each time I dig deeper.

A new tab when I click on Texas, a new tab when I click on a county, etc

Two interesting questions, thanks!

The minimum full scan is once per night. It usually happens between midnight and 3 AM EST.
But there's a feature I call "smart scan". Whenever someone click on an UR/MP/PUR the system will rescan the area in about 15 minutes. So if you use the tool, chances are your area will be updated more often. We may also do scans based on the number os URs in the area - if it's an area with high density of URs we may need to scan it more often.

Regarding the "pushing scan" we don't have it so far. But if necessary we may considere to increase the scan rate on some states.
ardan74 wrote:Thank you for a great tool! A curious question, how often does it scan? Is there a possibility of the end user being able to push a scan by state (US)?

Yes, that's not a problem.
I'll adjust the scanning area along the weekend.

Thanks!
doctorkb wrote:One other request:

Could you please increase the scanning area to cover the northern parts of Canada's provinces? Basically, if you drew a line from the NE corner of the scanned area of US/Canada block now to the NE corner of the Alaska scan, then filled in everything south of that line, that would be great for now.

Thanks!

Does this also find SLURs from the Beta editor?
No, unfortunately not.
But it's a great idea! Thanks!

Thank you very much for pointing this issue.
It took me a while to realize that some grids were not being scanned properly in the NA server.

I found the problem and the update should be completed soon.

From now on it will be possible to see on the scanning area map the server and the last scan date and time for each grid:

roadtechie wrote:This tool is amazing for sorting and knowing where the most issues are. Love it! One issue I did want to bring up was that it looks like every PUR is missing from Floyd and Clark County, Indiana (USA) as well as Jefferson County, Kentucky (USA) even though you can see quite a few PURs when you are within WME.
Thank You! Works great!
