The LaPlata location has been removed from Waze: this should update to the map in a few days. If your  customers still have this old location in their apps, they would need to follow this:

AFTER the update goes live users should remove any instance of this address from the history (listings with a "clock" icon) / Saved Places >> ("long press" or swipe left on the listing & delete). Then perform a new search and resave.

If users have an old search result or Saved Place, drivers will be routed to the old location - Waze stores the Lat/Long of a search result and doesn't perform a new query each time.

Hello all.

Now that the Brookeville Bypass on MD-97 is open, the following road segments should be marked as closed: https://waze.com/en-US/editor?env=usa&l ... ,531599024

While this part of the road will eventually be removed completely, that hasn't happened yet. Nevertheless, they should be considered permanently closed.

Driving through the area today and yesterday, I saw quite a few people going the wrong way and having to turn around, despite the prominent "Road Closed" signs, and I suspect they were misled by navigation apps.
