New Home -- How to get it on Waze

Post by MaqVa
Dear Waze Moderator,

I am a heavy and very happy user. We are currently moving to a new sub-division in Fairfax which is not on Waze. I tried adding it to Waze using the edit feature but I don't see it appearing. Is there any way to add it? Any recommendations?

New Road: Ganell Place in zip 22033

Thanks!

Mac

OK. I found that you added https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor?env=u ... =513598394 to the map earlier today. The name of the street should be "Ganell Pl", not "3837 Ganell Place". I'll clean it up and also enable the turns into the street.

However, the street won't appear on the Waze map until the next tile update. There's often a tile update once a day, but not always (right now we're 3 days behind). You can check https://status.waze.com to find out when there's been an update.

After the new road shows up any old routes won’t be updated. Please do a new search and instead of the autosuggested location scroll down to “More results for ...” then use the places tab. If saved as home, work, or favorite then deleted and resave after doing the new search above.
Once it works for you let us know by clicking the green check next to this forum’s title.
