The US RT 29 Business bridge is closed over the Staunton/Roanoke River between Altavista and Hurt from Dec 31st 2018 for 2 years while a replacement bridge is being built. It is closed in both directions North and South.

Thank you for letting us know. We have closed the bridge until 5/3/2021 per VDOT.
