We will probably all migrate to WME Magic, but before that we need to thank the Script developers, and also thank the effort of those who tried to keep Validator running after WME upgrade breaks.

My sincere thank you to all. ;)

One can always set the windows date to 01/05/15 when you really need the validator ;)

Re: [Script] WME Validator 1.1.8 / 07.05.2015

Quick question : I keep getting this in the Validator report after I scan a certain area.
Might be incorrect city name (only available in the report) (#24)
The segment might have incorrect city name: wiki
Consider suggested city name and use this form to rename the city: forum

Gy — city name is too short
Allée du Chambet, Gy
65434649
...

But that village's name is really just "Gy"
I would use the filter in the city name with !Gy to ignore it, but then it would just not show any potential errors on these segments as they would be ignored (if I understand this right).

How can I make it ignore the "city name is too short" error only, from the report, while still scanning these segments for anything else that could be wrong with them ?

I hope the answer is not too obvious

PesachZ wrote:You can disable check #24 by typing it in the Reported As: of the filters. Assuming that's the only check you want to disable you would type in
Code: Select all
!24,*

It was actually obvious :P
Thanks for this simple fix :)

I'd also prefer to have Validator back at the bottom again. It's a great tool but shouldn't need to be always above all other tabs, forcing us to scroll down whenever we need to use other scripts.

It must be a problem with certain configurations.
I have Chrome Version 46.0.2490.86 m and Validator installed in the extensions from the Google Chrome Web Store and it is working well with all scripts, staying at the bottom and leaving enough space.
