Dear APAC Champs,

I’d like to share some exciting news with you;

Being the community manager for all of APAC in the past year, I have seen a significant growth in the different communities. Many new countries now have active members and growing needs.

As a result, we have decided to onboard Tamar (Ottolenga), who will help me support some of APAC’s growing communities, specifically: India, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan and additional communities we’d like to invest time in. Tamar will also be supporting the Localization community, together with me.

Adding more human resources is a big deal for the APAC communities and it will allow us to provide you with better and faster service.

Important Clarification - I will be here, alongside Tamar, and will continue to manage the APAC communities. Together we will make sure APAC gets all the attention and support it needs.

My name is Tamar (you will find me also as “Ottolenga”) and I am very excited to join Dana in supporting the APAC & Localization Community Team and start working with you!

Few words about me;
I recently joined the team after being a Project Manager at Citibank and Ebay for almost four years. I was born and raised in beautiful Italy, I immigrated to Israel nine years ago and immediately fell in love with this country.
I studied Civil and Transportation Engineer and I am very happy to be part of the Waze team now.

I love travelling and I set a goal for myself to go at least once a year to a place I have never been before, so I am looking forward to come visit your countries soon!

I am looking forward to getting to know each other and I believe we can greatly contribute to Waze community through a strong collaboration.
