Yes, that works for me too. Can't believe how little the Waze dev team understand about how scripts like URC-E are such essential tools to editors (because WME itself is so lacking in many respects).

 

Y'all can also use WME beta. They didn't rollback the release there.

Well yes, it works fine for me. Make sure you are ONLY RUNNING ONE VERSION OF URC-E and that it is fully updated. Also check the console for errors. Sorry you're having issues. But to flat out say "Well no. It does not work correctly." is a little rude.

Further, I don't have to fix it for beta, or even at all. I could just leave it as is and let y'all just wait until WME beta release goes to production then take a few days to fix it. In fact, I think I will do that if anyone else complains about me taking time out of my day to try to figure out what the heck WME devs have changed in their thousands of lines of code.

I didn't mean for you to get as upset with the comment as you did, but if it doesn't work for me and before the update notice that appeared on WME, what do you want me to tell you? I agree that its functionality in the WME Beta is irrelevant but if you report, you expect people to praise you saying that you have done great and someone to tell you that something is happening, you throw yourself at their neck, the only thing you are going to get is the same thing you have done. got with me, that I don't let you know again if it's going well or if it's going badly. No, you told me "it does not work". That's not helping anything. "UR constantly reopens every 3 seconds". Again, of no help. I gave you suggestions to fix your issue. Or to post me real helpful information. Like screenshot of the version of URC-E you are using, then screenshots your developer console with ERROR messages with ONLY URC-E RUNNING (no other script running). These steps are basic script troubleshooting for any script. 1) Disable ALL other scripts except the one you think is giving you issues. 2) Post screenshots of errors in console with JUST THE ONE SCRIPT running.

I don't expect praise. I could care less. Did you know I don't even use URC-E? Heck, I barely edit anymore. I spend all my time fixing these scripts for you all to use. Not me. I don't care about praise or thanks or anything else. I do this because I want to help you all.

I clicked "Create new custom" and had no issues...
Steps

1: Open the template spreadsheet: Link
2: Click File then Make a copy.
3: Give your file a name and specify the folder you want to save it in.
4: Click Make a copy.
5: Your sheet will open in a new tab. Look at the URL to get the Spreadsheet ID.
It is between and ....

6: Click Share at the top right.
7: Under General access, click the down arrow next to Restricted.
8: Select Anyone with the link.
9: Ensure Viewer is listed as to right and Anyone on the internet with the link can view below.
10: Click Done.
11: Put your Spreadsheet ID (step 5) in the Custom Google Spreadsheet ID settings box in URC-E settings.
12: You can now use the Custom G Sheet comment list.
