Editing outside of cell coverage

Post by MurrayEgger
I drove to Ecum Secum the other day and the parts of the trip that I drove without cell coverage do not show up as editable, Is there a way to gain this access?

The area I would like to add a location (Funeral home and graveyard) is
https://www.waze.com/editor?env=usa&lon ... 007&zoom=0

Hey there,

Is this an area you know and you wish to update a few things? or are you wanting to just add these two things?

If it's just the two things I can do it for you, but if you're familiar with the area and wish to become an Area Manager we can have that set up for you to take care of.

Hey there, sorry for the delay replying to you.

Could you please send us a PL (Place Link) for the rough area you wish to be a manager of?

To do so open the Waze Editor and scroll around/zoom until you see the area you wish to manage. When you're happy click the "Link" button in the bottom right of the editor. It will cause the page to refresh and you will have a URL that looks similar to this in your address bar:

https://www.waze.com/editor?env=usa&lon ... 09.6041946

If you could provide this, and the email address that you use for your username in Waze Editor, we can get one of the senior map editors to grant the Area Manager privilege.

Hey again,

I just received confirmation that you should have map editing privileges for the area requested, it's apparently been set up for a bit so you may have already discovered this on your own.

You can see the area you can edit here:

https://www.waze.com/user/editor/MurrayEgger

Let us know if you encounter any problems, sorry for the delay with this.
