It is not a matter of one island. It is a matter of a whole section of the Maldives being undefined. You don't need a permalink to compare Waze's definition with the country's known area as shown in so many geographical sources in the net!!

I didn't put my post to argue about it. I faced a problem somewhere and it seems that the problem is larger than that single place. So I posted to resolve the large problem because it might face me on other nearby locations!! I don't think a permalink is necessary for an obvious and significant problem like this. Sorry for choosing the wrong title!!

Problem solved.

You have to find something as close as possible where the Maldives is already defined. Then, you try to create new things (places, for example) nearby toward the undefined area. When you get close the desired area, you will find that the country shows up in the Country list. This is provided that you can edit somewhere close to an existing definition.
