Unlock request

Post by z00mb1e
Hi, there will be major road works in my area:
https://waze.com/editor?env=row&lat=52. ... 087&zoom=2
I was going to add the closures to Waze map, but my level is too low to do so, can this be unlocked for me please.

It's not a first time, I monitor local closures (Sanwell council) and wish to be able to make such edit without constant asking for permission. If you check, quite a few roads here were mapped by me but since the new tiles were imported I'm stuck on L3. I don't mind leaving the edits on higher level but if I would be able to update road closures, it would be much appreciate.
Regards,

Your permalink doesn't include any selected segments. Due to the way Waze and WME is designed we use auto locks in the UK to manage protection of busy roads. Requesting unlocks is part of being part of the UK Waze community.

I try to keep on top of closures in the Midlands, as work permits.

I have added a description to the closure, so that users know the reason for it, and also set the end date to the 12th which is the date on the traffic order, with a time of 6pm, works don't usually end at midnight.

One.Network isn't the most reliable as the dates and times are often generic and vague (in this case input by Cadent the gas company, they have clearly padded the end date but the TRO doesn't give them this time). Having working in road construction for 10 years we never worked until midnight, usually 7am-6pm.

As I say I have gone off the Traffic Order from Sandwell.

Chris,
Somehow when I clicked on permalink, the segments got unselected. Here is a proper permalink:
https://waze.com/editor?env=row&lat=52. ... ,149363216
Update, one more segment:
https://waze.com/editor?env=row&lat=52. ... ,122777319
Cheers.

I understand, it's very confusing around here as some sign posts are saying 10 weeks (which would be 12th) and some of them 11 weeks. I'll let you know, once it gets closer to the end of 10th week whether it's looking about to finish or not. Cheers.
