[Script] Road Shield Assistant (RSA)

Road Shield Assistant is designed to assist editors mapping shields. There are several general options as well as some that need to be configured per country.

If the country specific options are not configured for your country the relevant options will be disabled in the UI. Please DM/PM myself (SkiDooGuy) and we'll work to get your country set up for those options.

This script is also translation ready - so if it's not loading in your localized language please let me know and we'll get the strings loaded.

Is it plan to support display of RS in alt and display when there is multiple RS ?

Would it be possible to limit the number of times the shields are shown for a segment, there are times when the map is obliterated. Would be nice to be able set either X time per segment or ever X miles/feet

I admit I didn't read all previous pages, so sorry if it was already asked/discussed.
Feature requests (as option): only display shields on minors and up (as they would appear on the client).

Thanks :). Testing it, it seems to remove shields also from Minors, at the moment.

Maybe because the roadshield is (also) applied to a street?

Those messages you included from the console all look like informational messages. I dont see any that are errors.
 
I would look for any messages that occur when you click on Save.

Yes, the red messages and pink background in console are generally errors. If you look at one of the "Uncaught" messages and click on both of the black triangles, it should reveal more details on the error.

Can you capture that and post it?

Just downloaded this because I was a bit annoyed with not being able to immediately tell if a certain street is missing their RS, and some googling gave me this script. Here to show my utmost appreciation because it's just so helpful. On top of that, the checkbox to enable/disable a script should be there for all scripts, so I don't need to disable in TM and refresh the page :P

I also say thanks @SkiDooGuy for this much-needed addition when mapping Road Shields.

I noticed that Road Shields on ramp segments are not being displayed. This is needed in Germany because of the import done by Waze, such ramp segments also have a Road Shield set.
If we could see them with the script more easily, we could better remove them in the future.

The TW and VI icons aren't working correctly. As you can see in the GIF, they overlap with the other icons.
