I've set the closure time to long term every time I report. I think what happens is Waze believes your exiting on the off ramp and then reroutes when it realizes that I'm still on the free way. It gets rid of the closure because it believes people are still exiting on the off ramp when in reality they're not

I've added the closure for a longer term. For some reason, it's not appearing in the tool we use to enter Caltrans closures - I think they may have misclassified a bit of data.

There are myriad reasons a closure may not stick, but thanks for your persistence, and for bringing the information here!

Yeah, working on it, thanks. The sequence of closures is complicated, because they're opening during rush hours, and the hours are different on weekends. Sorting this out of their data is tricky.
