I can't see the screenshot.  You may want to use the attachment option instead. 
keep in mind that there is probably not much that anyone can help with. If you read above, the script writer is currently not active and Toolbox is not being updated at this time.

What version of TB are you using?
 

Do you have TamperMonkey enabled?  Currently, I believe that TM needs to be enabled with at least 1 script active in order for TB to load.

Very likely.  Can you send a PL to one?  I'll check it out.
 

 

I am thinking this is because of how the native WME handles phantom nodes. 

You can see in my GIF that the segment does not have geonodes on it at all.   
It is not highlighted as simplifiable.
I add a non-routable pedestrian pathway and save and now the segment is highlighted as simplifiable.
I clear the geometry and the highlight goes away.

When Mike took over TB, he said he does not had time to investigate updating FF add-on.
