We have received reports on this new overhead camera on Kwinana Fwy northbound from the Gentilli Way overpass to Mill Point Rd exit in the “Smart Freeway Zone”. The focus of this camera is reportedly speeding and failure to comply with lane closures (Main Roads according to the Perth Now article have specified phone use and seatbelts is not the focus of the trial).
This camera is now active (albeit in the testing phase). A few drivers have reportedly been getting flashed so be careful and responsible when you’re travelling through this section.
