Down to 2, however, I counter with Dartford Borough Council have this road listed as Station Approach, which would be more appropriate.

Always happy for contradiction, in this case I can't see anyone really noticing... or caring :lol: Having a very quick scan of the report I believe Station Road refers only to the address of the railway station, which is the old Station Road that was there before the roundabout.

My information is from their planning website;

You can find the Dartford planning link, along with many others, in the UK Wazeopedia Editor Resources page, under specific regions;

Hi Atrophicshiner,

Without trying to seem like i am contradicting you, i do agree that this should be named Station approach which is how most roads leading to stations of this size are named (work on the rail infrastructure) however the information that i have found regarding the name of this road matches "Station Road" i couldn't find anything showing it as Station Approach,

one example which i feel is probably one of the best bits of information is from one of Dartford Councils meeting agenda's dated in 2007 which includes a letter from Network rail to Dartford council regarding the proposal to build a new station here which shows this as Station Road,

Detail in the accompanying documents link at the bottom of the page below

Kind Regards
Rob
