New APAC Community Specialist
Hi Everyone,
I am very happy to join the Waze APAC Community family and excited to meet you all (even if online for now).I was born in Brazil, but I have been living in Israel for more than 17 years.
I speak Portuguese, Spanish, English and Hebrew. Before joining Waze, I was leading the Latam team for 'Here Mobility' at 'Here Technologies' (a company that provides mapping, location data and related services to individuals and companies) for the last 3 years so I have a bit of experience with maps.
I live just 2 min from the beach, enjoy my end of the day beach walks especially with my dog and I love traveling around the world.
I used to spend 2 weeks per month abroad before Covid-19, especially in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. I have family in Brazil, US and Australia where I always try to spend my vacation.
From 2008 to 2012 I was working in a company that was 60km from my home, driving between 120-150 km per day, at the same time Waze was looking for testers and I am glad that I was one of them. I used to take a road that was constantly under repairs and construction, Waze helped me to save a lot of time, especially on the way back home.
The best ways to be in touch with me: e-mail, forum, Discord (nickyaug#7672), telegram (nickyaug) or Google chat.
Best,
Nicole
