Posting "me too", "I have the same problem", etc.. etc... is not helping because it just adds pages to this discussion. Then people who don't read previous messages ask the same questions over and over on new pages and we must -again- give the same answers for the xth time. This is not productive.

If you have the same problem, understand that it will get solved at the same time as everyone else, and there will be no difference between those who said something here and those who didn't.
Unless you have new/useful information, please avoid adding more messages so that we don't -yet again- skip 1 discussion page and have to restart giving answers to people who don't read back.

We've been informed by staff that the data was successfully updated!
All the drives issues should now be resolved.

If anyone still has issues (with drives older than 24-48h) please let us know.

Indeed, we were waiting for feedback since waiting more didn't work and got a message today where they said one of their teams was now looking into it. We'll update again when we know more.

Considering that delays of 2-4 days can be totally normal and usual throughout the year, it is advised not to worry until at least 7 days have passed. It has been only 3 days since the 20th.

While most apps out there serve stats in real-time and got people used to have things update almost immediately, please note that Waze points and drives should not be expected to function that way. Why was it designed differently? I don't know.
As most long term Waze users have found out it's just something you learn to live with if you use this App. So to reduce stress and improve health - have patience and don't worry too soon, otherwise you risk having it happen every week or so and that can't be good for someone's heart.

All that being said, if you see a delay in drives this week it *could* also be caused by the last point in the list below.

We got another update regarding the March 20th+ drives:
  • While investigating the issue, the Waze team found a bug and fixed it. It was what caused the data to not be properly recorded.
  • This bug affected only 20% of Waze users, all others had their drives getting uploaded as usual.
  • The team started re-uploading the drives since March 20th (they can't do it for earlier dates).
  • This process should last until approximately this Sunday (April 29th) as it represents a huge amount of data for the servers to handle on top of handling the usual daily amounts of drives.

No it does not and isn't supposed to, because updating logs has nothing to do with drives. Logs are used by support devs to analyse the code for possible error messages that your App has encountered while it was running. Sending them without being asked does nothing more than to spam their inbox.

The Waze team responsible for this has the latest information about missing dates, they are still working on the issue.
We were told we'd be updated when more information becomes available from them.

Small update: Still according to staff working on this problem, it "makes sense" that there are delays while they are still trying to fix previous drives while having to handle the daily amount in addition. They say that it should catch up in the next few days and that we should wait until after the weekend to verify if things have improved.
