I posted the image in the first post. at this point, it's not really my preferred route, it's about being safe and waze is suggesting to cut across 3 lanes during rush hour traffic when two of the lanes are occupied by congestion. you can see how quickly i need to jump the lanes. you can see where my solid white line ends and the solid white line begins on the other side quickly. using the white F150 as size reference, that's maybe 2-3 truck lengths? 



traffic downtown would be coming from the far left lane and in order to get onto 286/crosstown, i'll need to cut across 3 lanes within a few seconds. if i miss it, i'll have to travel about 2-3 more miles before a turnaround can happen. 

with the massive construction, downtown drivers and diverted to drive up town, cross over N. Caranchua St bridge, drive down MLK/Buffalo drive, and make the giant circle turn to get onto crosstown. like this.
