Hi,

Thanks! I was looking at The Embankment road in Bedford. There has been an order made for 20mph in August 2020. However, for some reason Bedford Borough Council is not enforcing it as they have not changed the signage. I was going to ask here first, whether the map should refelt this change.

There are average speed check camera's alongside this road, however no tickets for 30mph as there is no signange for 20mph.

Hi,

Haven just driven down this road to double check, they have started to put small circular signage for 20mph on streetlights, can be hard to notice!

I thought it would be best to update the speed limit for this road due to this. I was only able to update a small segment, would you be able to do the rest?

Since this was your first post, welcome to Waze editing and the Waze forum. Have you seen the Quickstart guide?

Map editing experience can be useful, but local knowledge is priceless. Waze works best with lots of editors who really know their own patch, so please don’t hesitate to join in. You will find it a nuisance that some of the roads you want to edit are "locked", but as you already know, a post to this forum will sort that out.

I'm not sure that you'll find any guidance for the lawful speed limit not having any signage!

My thought is that Waze should follow the signage that is actually there, or if there are no signs the default (30mph if there are street lights). Presumably nobody can be prosecuted for breaking the unsigned 20mph speed limit, but they could be prosecuted for exceeding 30, since that needs no signs so long as there are streetlights.

Do you want to do the roundabouts as well? (Tip: click one segment of the roundabout, then "select entire street" in the left panel to get the whole roundabout selected ).
