Hey Hey!

I’m happy to invite you to the UK and Ireland community meetup

Waze staff from Israel and London will join the meetup as well.

Where: London, England, Hotel: TBD
Date: Saturday, 16.7.2022 | Listed on the 2022 Meetup Information Website.

All local COVID guidelines will be in effect according to local regulations. More information regarding this subject will be provided closer to the event. For now, you can check out our COVID section on the information website.
Those who would like to participate must submit the form by June 12.
Note that Local Meetups can hold a maximum of 30 in-person attendees and many more virtually.
Travel & Reimbursements - Participants who are not flying and have paid for their own transportation to the Meetup will be eligible to receive travel reimbursement. Those who request a flight will be contacted by our travel agent and should not book flights on their own.

Hi all who coming to this. Sorry for the lack of information, but it has all seems to have been a bit rushed this year.
Yes there will be a hangouts set up for those attending. Should be set up soon.
Yes we do intend to go for a drinks and food to a local pub on the Friday evening. The location will be announced as soon as we get it booked. The local pubs are quite small and as there should be about 12-15 of us that evening, we need to let them know in advance. Please note this is not included in the Waze funding for the event and so will have to be paid for by us.
Any other questions, stick them here and I will try and answer them.

I stayed there earlier this year and it was all ok.

Probably going to take the train now as well within the congestion charging zone (2 days) and probably far easier

If you are driving one option would be to park at Cockfosters Underground Station NCP car park (£6 a day) and catch the Picadilly line to Holborn.

Will there be Friday night drinks? Has anyone found a good pub nearby?

That Wetherspoons is terrible! The Ship is a good pub but it’s probably too small
