Has it been released? I only see v1.21.257 from 8/20/2022.

Twister said it is fixed in the latest development build, my a is that he will release it to production when his testing is complete.

Horizon911 wrote: Tue Dec 27, 2022 4:54 pm Hey Guys,
Looks like there has been a recent change to WME: Now editing Places (especially creation of new node/vortex) seems to be the real deal and pixel-hunting. Anything FUME could do to mitigate this?
Thinks

Maybe I'm to old to be hip but could you explain "the real deal" and "pixiel-hunting?" Thanks.

My guess is that it has something to do with being able to adjust an area from anywhere between geonodes (just like you can adjust segments now)

Look at the bottom of the FUME tab for the Version Number

lg1992 wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 6:31 am The strange "Search this area" control appears on the map every time. I think it only started to appear today and it's probably related to a recent update of WME. When I click on the control it just disappears, but appears again when I move the map.SearchThisArea.png

The control only appears when the FUI script is active. Is it possible to hide this control?

This is a native feature of Issue Tracker.

Nothing strange about the control.  It is native part of the Issue Tracker when it is set to search the map area for issues.

I agree it's a native feature; I don't agree with the "nothing strange about" it part.  :D
As far as I can tell, it's completely useless, since it just duplicates what "sync with map" in the Issue Tracker does.

It is 100% not useless and does not duplicate the "sync with map" box at all.  It is one or the other.
Checking the "Sync with map" box makes the "search this area" button not show any more.  The entire purpose behind the button is if you don't want to auto-search for new issues every time you move the map, you can have the "Sync with map" box unchecked and have your Issues Tracker set to "Map area" then you press the button the search for the map area for issues.
If you want to search the map area every time you move the map,  have the "Sync with map" box checked or switch to managed area or specific area.  Then the issues will show every time you move around.

If you don't want to search the map area for issues and don't want to have the map automatically sync with the "Sync with map" box checked, you might as well turn off the Issues Tracker layer since it is not able to do anything at all.

With the latest release, I am seeing an issue when I don't have Compressions set.

Screenshot with FUME compression set to Low

Screenshot with FUME compression set to None

Notice where the save button disappears.

For some reason the 'profile' icon is moved on the map itself. The thing is that it doesn't happen all the time and there is no indication on when it happens.fume.png
 Cheers,
Eddy

Try adjusting the compression to see if it is better

daveacincy wrote: Tue May 23, 2023 8:28 pm For the last day or so, the Layers menu has been very finicky about where you click. You need to find a spot where the cursor changes to a pointing hand and click there.

I believe that is related to the compression issue.

searchjaunt wrote: Tue Jun 06, 2023 11:57 am Hi,
Some odd behaviour happens with the search bar. When a maximized windows gets resized, the whole bar vanishes. It also happens when a closure has been added (whatever size of the window)empty_search.png

The magnifying glass in the search is also oddly placed when the window is maximized.magnify.png

Cheers,
Eddy

The vanishing top bar is actually caused by PIE, not FUME
