I've put the junction numbers back on the edit instructions, and relocked.

Take your point about the "view only" with a second junction imminent. I've heard there's a concept of "far lane" instructions available on Beta WME. I'll see if I can find out about it.

You can now have fun clearing the UR's ;)

Ian

Edited in response to Mat's post: junction box would certainly be another way of doing it. I have a feeling "far lanes" may require a junction box anyway.

"Far lanes" have now been added. You can see the junction box on main WME, but you would have to use Beta WME to edit it successfully.
Normally, Beta developments are supposed to be confidential, but since this one can be viewed on main WME, and already affects app navigation, I think it's an open secret. Still wouldn't want to see it shouted from the rooftops though.

If I'm understanding correctly then i've  found a post about it from Waze staff on the forum! So I don't think it's too private anymore  :P

Thanks.
Thats done now.....I think.  Partly inspired by Kkervin's M1 J24 layout here:  https://www.waze.com/en-GB/editor?env=r ... =407469769

Hopefully my workings are clear, let me know if anything is obviously wrong.
I'm not sure about the View Only on the approach to the first exit.  In my experience, this causes URs if there is a junction straight after.  E.g. URs from people wanting to exit for the A335 North, complaining that Waze told them to use any of the three right hand lanes on the approach to the junction.  Lets see....

In addition to the far lanes added (as above), I've also rearranged the exit to have a single segment for the majority of the slip road. The correct routing will now be controlled by a second Junction Box.

The reason I've done this is ClosureMonitor. CM struggles with single stretches of roads that have been doubled with two segments. In this case, and the other example given above (M1 J24), will have to be/have been made compatible with CM.

Kevin,
Pardon if I'm wrong, but would you be worth using a junction box here to keep the routing from using the second exit and the roundabout here too?
Similar to this by James?

(if not and that's not it would be great to know proper process here, still learning!)
