Think you may have forgotten to click "apply" after changing the name and before "save"?
(I still do this myself sometime, annoying that WME gives you no warning)

Auto-lock restored.

Places: if adding them in the app, I don't worry too much at the time. Just make a note (normally I take a screenshot as a reminder) and then move it on WME when I get home.

In WME, you should be able to click on it and then drag it around.

Places always start as a point. To convert to an area in WME, select the place, find the "type" in the place attributes in the left-hand panel, and then one of the two logos below it - the one which looks like an area rather than a point. This will produce a square area; you can now drag the corners around, and create new corners by clicking on an edge.

In general, area places should only be used for
- car parks
- petrol stations
- conspicuous landmarks that a passing driver will notice and could use for navigation

Waze will navigate to a point place just as easily as an area place, but a point won't clutter the visible map in the app.

Playing field place approved.

I notice the nearby Cottage Hospital - according to the hospital website the official address is Upper Belgrave Road rather than Watery Lane.

The street in the Waze address gets displayed on the search panel in the app, so ought to confirm with the official address of the place. This won't stop you moving the navigation point, which is where Waze would actually direct drivers, to Watery Lane if that is appropriate.

LOL. Thanks. It is annoying. I wouldn’t have known. Also, how do add a new place with accurately?

I meant like adding a new area of land. These two are football pitches.

Thank you. I’ve done one of them and will do the other one another time. I’ll let you know as they need approval. Could you approve this one please? It’s on Watery Lane.
