Hi,

In June 2022, we held an amazing event that brought together Waze Community and Staff members, to discuss ideas for Waze.
The winning idea was Major change in speed limit, which aims to alert drivers before they reach segments with significantly lower speed limits. 


We’re happy to share that the feature is on the roadmap for 2023!
This feature is being prioritized against other driving safety functionalities, such as Permanent Hazards, which is a bit higher in priority at the moment.

We’re very excited and will share more with you as we move closer to the launch.
