What to do with "stopped vehicle" in Port Tunnel

Post by ArnoutIE
Yesterday I was approaching the Port Tunnel and the overhead signs indicated all lanes closed because of "stopped vehicle". I quickly took the exit to the N1 and hit traffic jam -> stationary traffic before Waze noticed I had deviated from the plan.
Is that the correct way to go about such a situation? My goal obviously was to prevent Waze from sending any other users to the port tunnel until the problem had cleared (and of course I didn't stick around to see how long that would take).

Hiya, you can report a closure from the app. In this case (if you had the time), you could have marked the tunnel closed and that way the app would not use it for a given time.
