Single or bi-directional speed camera?

The speed camera on this road here clearly only points towards you (i.e. not in the direction of travel), however the camera markings on the carriageway are on both sides. Does this mean the camera can snap you driving towards it as well as away? Just dealing with a UR here questioning the bi-directional camera warnings.

AFAIK Markings on the other side of the road measure overtaking cars, not on-coming cars.

Correct, just to stop cars switching lanes to avoid the marks.
