That's because you have a job now. Quit it and get back to editing!

I am now convinced Tim was correct in not highlighting issues on more minor roads. Time and again in my virtual travels I've come across whole swathes of areas where people have just set two way directions and then used JNF without little or no attempt to name or set correct directions. I have no real issue with using JNF on areas otherwise sorted but at the moment scores are artificially inflated by this trend. Get proper editing people, please!

Rant over.

Re: Script to add Highlights for Segments & Landmarks - v1.3

Thanks for this useful script! I finally started using it a few weeks back and just upgraded to 1.3 yesterday. I like the new highlighting for junction errors, but I'm wondering if there's a better way to see these errors than to select each node individually. I tried selecting multiple segments with the landmark selection (using WME Ext Tools), but the selection color takes precedence over the junction highlighting. It would be cool if I could see all the bad junctions at a glance.

I don't know if this is the highlight script, the new WME, or both, but tonight I'm frequently having problems while editing. The road layers load but the highlighting layer does not. I'm able to select a segment but the segment information doesn't appear and I can't move or delete the segment. Reloading usually fixes the problem but sometimes it takes 4 or 5 times before it's resolved.

Hello, Timbones
Can this script add highlights for red segments (a new road recorded via client) - more bright or fat color? It would make appreciable such segments of big scales on the maps

Do you have v1.1? That already makes them bold and red. Do you want them more bright or fat?

Yes, I already install v1.1
Now the transparent pale red of this road is imperceptible on the real red color. I want more bright and fat

+1 :)

Because this one is terminated with a junction, whereas these three are not.

Laurentwb wrote: My point, as you say, is to really highlight roads with connection on only one side because it is a good tool to find where there are real connection issues rather than dead-end roads.

As you say, not sure it is feasible. But it would be so great ...

So, you would like to highlight all four roads? To notice where a road's end is floating near some other road, but is not connected to it?

It off course is feasible. But from my experience, such unconnected road is usually not terminated by a junction, but its end is freely floating very near the other road. (On a manually created map, I admit I'm not sure about an imported basemap.) And just this type of roads gets highlighted now.

Bug report:
If the v1.0.1 is enabled, opening an(y) editor page using a permalink with segments (or landmarks) does not select and highlight these segments (or landmarks).
I do not remember, whether it was functional in the previous versions.
