Gas points vs. traffic updates
Gas updates and points:
As I finally near King status, I've had a lot of fun with this app the last 6+ months. I do have a pretty small gripe, but gripe nonetheless. You allow people to literally rack up points non-stop simply by updating gas prices, and at 8 points each, FAR above a much more important update on an accident, or traffic trap. But to the people who are legitimately calling out valid traffic problems, you restrict their ability to update others around them to 5, maybe 6 updates in a certain amount of time.
This isn't even about points, you can't even update people. Bring in the NY/NJ area, I have bumped up against this limit more than a couple of times.
I could literally drive up and down US 22 here and rack up hundreds of points in an hour, but I can't tell people of more than 5 or 6 events in a row before the system cuts me off. You might want to make some adjustments to that formula.
