Same name behaviour for PP into PA

This issue arises when we create new PP in PA with same name either In PN or AN

Instead of creating PP, it will popped as PUR 

​​​​​​Work around this was by creating PP outside of PA then drag in. Or using alphanumeric/symbols after the name (hack)

This actually i found when i experimenting to get hospital emergency department to get top listed on auto complete search keyword

I wonder about the meaning of those acronyms: PP, PA, PN & AN.
Actually, I do not think it is a good practice to use such acronyms in such a forum.

If I am understanding what is being said (I agree that many of the acronyms used are not common from my experience), I believe this has always happened.

If you create 2 identical places within a certain distance of each other, the places are merged and create a PUR or it would error and not allow the creation.

We found this while mapping EV stations.

Hi DINKAFTAC,

The team has rechecked this case. Currently, there is a mechanism in place to detect duplicate venues, but it might be changed in the future. We will keep you updated.

I came across this behavior a couple of months ago on a mapraid in the DR creating public schools.
I found it odd that when I created a school that already existed, the WME created a PUR suggested by myself. I think the save dialog should say something along the lines of: "This place already exists; do you want to merge it?" instead of creating a PUR.
