The Forum will be migrating to Waze Discuss on September 16th. Expect 48-hour freeze during the transition.

These segments are now unlocked for you. If you want any help, there's a link in my signature for the Southwest Region Discord server. You can join us there and have access to the local editing community.

We can also make the change on your behalf if desired/needed.

Why can't I? When I switch to the Road Closures tab, I still see "To add or edit closures, you need to be a level 3 editor or a Waze for Cities partner with established permissions." I'm a noob at this - 25K edits are years away.

Why can't the city? I have contacts at SB city (Jessica Grant <jgrant@santabarbaraca.gov>;) who could become a city partner, but I'm just a volunteer. They're a bit overwhelmed learning all the interfaces to make changes on Google and Apple Maps, so they asked me to help with Waze.

tl;dr: Could you make the changes for me?

Thanks.  We actually set these as a restriction rather than closure (restrictions are easy to set as repeating).

It has been added to take effect 9/28 per the website.

Ah, thanks. I didn't realize restrictions were a different thing that I should look for.

Thank you for your help!
