I have realised that selecting 'update map -> new road' again stops the recording of a new road. Obvious when you think of it!
And the E71 has a pretty good reputation for battery life. ’Fraid you’ll need an in car charger unless you only make short journeys. Waze of course initiates the GPS chip in your phone and 3G data signals, whereas other navigation apps are less intensive on the mobile data requirements if they have the maps already on your phone (e.g. Nokia Ovi Maps).rmoradob wrote:I am running waze on a Noka E71.
My major concern is that it drains out my phone battery on my daily commute to the office
My battery life is very short < 2hr if I don't have a power source and I am running Waze, Ovi Maps and Nokia Sportstracker, even though they share the GPS data.
At least in the car a power point is an option...
Hi ladykaya, you should be able to press each key repeatedly to get the numbers you need as T9 predictive text input is not working yet. E.g. press key '2' 4 times to get number 2, that is, it cycles through a -> b -> c -> 2 -> a -> b -> etc.ladykaya wrote:I can't type numbers to search for addresses. I'm using an e75.
For the E75, if this doesn't work, which key pad are you using to enter addresses? Are you using the slide out keyboard on the number keys? If you can give a bit more detail on what you are doing and the menu options you are selecting we can help further, because entering numbers does work for most people and is not a bug as far as I can tell.
Hi devs,henryx wrote:Hello devs,
I'm on a N95 and more and more I see forum posts from users, talking about client-features I've never seen on my S60 client. When will these features available for us?
Best regards,
What version of Waze are you running?
