Are you sure it was the officer (and a ping), or could it have been a Wazer behind you hitting the thumbs up button?

That's pretty cool... They must have the same attitude as CT State Police - that it's about safety & not about revenue...

There is no doubt in my mind, they ping me about ten min after they were tagged. They had a user name that had police in it. I beleive they were trying to see what my responce would be. The first time I dumd struck I wasn`t able to respond. The second time all I was able to ge out was K ! LOL!

Looking at the amount of spectacular accident footage on Youtube where a poor traffic officer almost gets taken out while just doing his job, I cannot say how much I agree with the safety aspect.

Heck, if that was my job, I'd even pin my own position in Waze as a warning.

When I lived out there, there was a few times where I was going over and all the FHP did was shine their light at my vehicle like I see you slow the eff down type of thing. I thought for sure I was busted because of the amount of speed I usually drive.
