Gotta keep your expectations low when you're dealing with a free app - when stuff doesn't work, we have to remind ourselves that we're getting exactly what we paid for it ...

It's still significantly better than iOS 6 Apple Maps, so I'm thankful for that, and it's routing is pretty comparable to my TomTom's navigation. It'd be nice if the social/gaming aspects of the app worked better, but ultimately it's a mapping/navigation app and it definitely works for that on devices that have a usable GPS.

I have Waze for 3 days now. Did many drives - no points at all. This sucks!!! (HTC 8S)

Seem to be lots of growing pains without much in the way of transparency regarding the timing of potential fixes beyond the "we're aware of problems" party line.

My points don't seem to be updating for the last couple of days, even though I am doing lots of map edits (aligning streets to aerial imagery, deleting spurious nodes, fixing junctions, etc.).

If you're using WME Highlights with Recently Edited (green) turned on with a threshold of 3 days or so, and then go to this permalink:

you will see that I've done quite a few updates in the past couple of days, but my points seem to be truly "stuck".

My Waze dashboard statistics are not changing (e.g., Map Updates is stuck at 9.961), and the page shows my rank was last updated on 11.28.2012 at 20:00.

Is no one else having this problem?

Yup, mine was finally updated as well.

waze is digging a hole non-stop.

they should consider a donation system. i wouldnt mind paying a salary so the ranks are up to date.
