Every station I find with 3rd party updates will have N/A when they do have the fuel grade listed, but for the grades they do list they are no longer really that far off.

I also continue to see regular updates from 3rd party that includes N/A on various combinations of fuel grades including one station recently that had all four as NA and 3rd party was the last to touch it.
Personally it is such a joke that I don't even consider most of the the fuel price data valid because of the 3rd party updates being so inconsistent and screwing up what appears to be the very valid user entered data at other times.

Last time I saw third party update it was all N/A's.kentsmith9 wrote:Every time I see the 3rd party updates it has some of the fuels as N/A.

That's about the way I feel about it. The unreliability of the 3rd party updates makes it pointless to use Waze to find the best deal for gas.kentsmith9 wrote:I also continue to see regular updates from 3rd party that includes N/A on various combinations of fuel grades including one station recently that had all four as NA and 3rd party was the last to touch it.

Gas prices in my area are usually wrong, but the app Gas Buddy is also always wrong. I am updating prices 10x a day

"Kwik Fill" in North Hornell, NY carries all four grades. 3rd party reported accurate prices yesterday for regular, mid, and premium, but N/A for diesel. Over the past week or so, I've noticed that 3rd party has been providing incorrect prices for regular and diesel at that station, with N/A for mid and premium.
BTW -- when is "Kwik Fill" going to get added to the list of preferred gas stations in the US? I've been asking for it for quite a while now ... their chain almost always has the lowest price across upstate NY.

Now that I'm back to updating that Kwik Fill and the Arrow Mart near my house, they haven't been getting 3rd-party prices in, so there haven't been any errors lately.jasonh300 wrote:Now that I'm keeping an eye on it, I'm not seeing any problems. In going to keep the station closest to my house updated and see if any incorrext 3rd party prices come in.

Checked several stations on my trip the last two days ... all of them that had recently been updated by the "3rd party" had incorrect "N/A" entries, so this problem is still happening.

I had a similar occurrence today at two separate Sunoco stations in my area. Had a wrong price for regular, and all three other grades showed NA as in Not Available as in Fuel Type not offered.
Who is this 3rd party and how are they trashing good gas prices and replacing them with bad info?

Gas price updates from 3rd Party are very wrong
