I had a General Error UR from the middle of a school building with no comment so here is the conversation that occurred.

Thank you for your report from Hill Elementary. Can you provide details of the map problem you experienced?

Reporter on May 17, 2014
The lines in the road heading north on MoPac in the area where the construction are very hard to figure out which mark the lanes. The construction marking are about as strong as the lanes you are supposed to use. It's hard to tell where you are supposed to be driving. Like from westover to 2222

I considered being flipant but decided to be useful instead. Here is my reply:

Unfortunately there is nothing the volunteer map editors can do about the markings on the streets. In Austin there is a good web site for submitting requests about street markings. Go to: https://austin-p1csrprodcwi.motorolasol ... .mvc/Index and follow the directions. I have used it to get a sidewalk repaired so I know they do respond. Hope this helps.

So do they think we work for the government?

This is the best one I have seen lately.

Problem: no hay error

Now this is Texas and the drought has caused there to be a shortage of hay, but I suspect that is not what the driver meant. I have asked for details and am looking forward to the response.

It is, but not if you're traveling in a straight line.

One hell of a detour

Ok, I don't think we are on Pern or any of the other places where there are dragons. I have no idea why they are talking to this driver.

This was posted right next to a gas station:
Type: General error
Description: no gas

I can't find the button in the editor to magically refill the gas, maybe they took it out in the last update?

Description: looks like night during day

The user was in a parking garage. Are you trying to tell me sunlight can't go through concrete?

Problem: this is a residential area.

Here was their zigzagging route through the neighborhood (note that the Waze instruction would have put them on a main road if they had followed it):

*stops at gas station and walks in* "Hey, does this map on my phone look right to you?"
*cashier nods*
"Yeah? I think I'm gonna get a second opinion at the gas station across the street first."
*walks into another gas station* "Hi, I didn't trust the guy at the other gas station, does this map look right?"
*this cashier nods too*
"You gas station workers always lie. I'm gonna have to to assume the map is wrong here."
