I noticed that if I select the node itself I get the messages and legend in the properties box. But if I select a segment, the segments attached to it light up with the highlights but there's no legend or message in the properties box. This is with FF 15. I have to wait until this evening to try it on Chrome.

Love the script. Incredibly useful. It just makes me sad to see so many reverse connectivity segments. :( Ah, well, it gives me something to do. :D

Then how can I get a RevCon error at a junction when the junction is at the 'entrance' end of a one-way street?

And shouldn't qw'ing fix RevCon? The junction doesn't have to be exploded and rebuilt does it?

There are some roundabouts where the segments have speeds in both directions... Weird eh?
Not really. There's no doubt bad gps traces that are attributed to those segments. I've seen a lot of one-way segments with speeds in both directions.

Hi Tim,
Thank you VERY much for such a useful script. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work in Safari (even with NinjaKit, the Greasemonkey replacement for Safari) it didn't run. So I set about learning Safari Extensions, and adapted your work as an Extension that works natively in Safari. It can be downloaded here: https://github.com/mikebronner/WME-Color-Highlights.
I gave you full credit, of course, as you did all the heavy lifting. As a Mac user, I have come to prefer Safari over other browsers, and wanted to see it work there too. Please let me know if this is OK with you -- if not, I'll be happy to take it down, or alter it in such a way that would accommodate any changes you request.

Thanks!
~Mike

Thanks, Tim. :) If it's OK, I'd like to continue to roll in your updates as you release them.
Timbones wrote:I was wondering if it was worth creating a proper Chrome Extension for the Web Store...
The thought crossed my ming as well, but considering that the only users of this plugin are map editors, not to mention volunteers, this is a very limited userbase, and not really worth it. Speaking for myself, I think it's a nice and small project, great for learning and helping out.

AlanOfTheBerg wrote:Mike, the extension doesn't appear to be v1.1. I can't quite tell as it doesn't show the version # info like the Chrome one. I don't get the extended info that country managers are supposed to see either.
Hi Alan,
Thanks for reporting back. I took the latest version (1.1.0) from the Userscript.org page. There were initially some oddities with the advanced options showing, but they will show up once you log out, refresh, then log in again, with a possible refresh after that. I will work on displaying the version information -- it's a bit different than with Userscripts, while I could just hard-code the version number, I would actually like to display the actual version number, less of a maintenance nightmare that way. :)
I will post some updates this evening.

Update: It looks like there is an issue with advanced options. I will look into that. It was working for me yesterday evening, I must have inadvertently changed something during debugging at some point.

Update: Problem found. Extension has been recompiled and uploaded: https://github.com/mikebronner/WME-Colo ... safariextz

What are the steps to reproduce the permalink issues? Click on the permalink didn't cause any issues on my end after logging in.
