I'm half tempted to authorize this one as the only Red Light Camera in the state.

The lake is a man made freshwater lake made by walling off part of the Great Salt Lake. A decent place for boating and fishing.

Baloney. The Waze screen never shows any ID data. It doesn't show your username, it doesn't show the mood you have currently selected. What other data are you afraid of sending to a random editor to enable them to fix the problem you are reporting? Your signal strength, maybe a carrier logo? Waze takes over the entire screen except for the notification bar at the top and I've not seen any ID data up there either.

There are many ways that Waze could work around this false Privacy issue if they really wanted to. Number one of which would be a simple agreement page at install that notifies them that map problem reports will include anonymized contact data based on the email address they had to give, to enable map editors to work with them to fix map issues. Or by using ID'less contact forms to allow an editor to submit a comment to the reporting user asking for feedback, and that feedback similarly going through an ID'less contact form. Screenshots could be limited to the actual Waze screen real-estate.

The fact is editing could be so much better if Waze would give us back a method of obtaining better information than what is commonly included in UR's.

Yes some paranoid folks may choose to not use waze if such information were communicated, but most would not. Most people appreciate the exchange of information. We live in the age of social media, you can try and hide from it or you can embrace it, and most people choose to embrace it, understanding they are trading some information about their daily activities for free services.

I'll ditto Txemt, I did that several months ago on the AFB in my state and it stopped thru routing issues entirely.
