While we're at bug reporting and improvements, there is an old issue still present on the new version. It happens only with Firefox (not on Safari or Chrome), where segments on the horizontal (or almost) are quite hard to select. Vertical or diagonal ones are ok.

This is being looked into by management. Right now, the TOS/Privacy Policy doesn't allow it. It may be as easy as modifying that, but we're not sure.

There is already a setting on the client to allow me to be anonymous, visible to friends or public. Just use that same privacy setting on the reports. The legal boilerplate should the same - the privacy applied to police/accident/etc reports visible on the client map should be the same as the privacy of a user report on the editor, or am I missing something?

I'd be happy just to see the name of the reporter. Then we could talk to the guy via the forum.

I can't get map editors to talk to me via the forum

I meant "at least we know who reported it" ;) I know what you mean, my reports explicitly say "personal note from davipt do not close" and just got one report closed. As I report everything as wrong route, so I can later get the violet suggested route and the green driven route and have more information (specially if I say "right petrol, left no", now I don't recall what the issue was. Fortunately thanks to the color highlights extension I could isolate the change the guy did and recall what it was (waze routed me through a side parallel street instead of the minor highway, probably to get munch points) and the guy redraw the street *under* the minor highway, so I was looking at the map, with the script telling me "one change from the guy", and not seeing anything green on the map.

So waze please tell me the nickname of the reporter!!!

Same here, a lot of "nodes are not connected", specially with more than two segments. When I try to disconnect and reconnect them, usually one of the segments are not "snappable". Let's say to simplify only two segments. Dragging A into B snaps, but dragging B into A is like A isn't there. After a save it's ok, but now we need to be more careful and save a lot.

PS: +1 for the font decrease.

Another suggestion - the arrows for the segment direction are too hard to read when a node is selected, I usually can't discern if they go right or left or up or down :(. The arrow tip should be bigger or something, or revert back to the simpler < > version shown on unselected segments, instead of this <-- -->

On firefox and chrome, I can no longer scroll the whole web page. I used to have a scroll bar on the right side.. This makes the map area horrible. Whats the trick to enlarge the map area? . The top header on the page seems like its to large... Can you guys set the map window to scroll on the server side?

Help...

Further to that I've now found examples of cities duplicated which DO NOT HAVE alt names so it looks like a general error check fail

The city layer has now been (or is in the process of being) updated for the World Server. :D

This seems to have uncovered a bug in WME.

Where some cities have been renamed in the UK to remove (county) if one of them had alt names it has let the editor save the second city with the same name too far away from the first, so city blur is back!

Example:
Greetwell in North Lincolnshire which has alt street names on Messingham Ln and Greetwell in Lincolnshire

These are now linked on the cities layer despite being 25 miles apart.
