It's been posted that perhaps Facebook friends setting may be causing this issueTrakr wrote:I am getting alot of 'Uh-Oh' windows though when starting the app that close and then it seems like everything is working fine. I always use 'Switch Off' in Waze when not using it.

If you haven't already, please submit logs from either Settings or Help menu.tomeddie78 wrote:I am using 3.5.1 with an iPhone 4 on 6.0.1:
(I've been using the application for 3 yrs and this is my first major issue)...
When I launch the application it finds my current location. I select navigate and we're off to the races. Sometime within the first mile or so it loses the GPS signal and my current location stops updating, then the little status bar across the top of the application comes up and says "No GPS...." (something about not being able to find the signal. Eventually it finds the signal again after I've traveled 5 or 6 miles, updates the map, and then looses the signal again. This repeats over and over.
To get even more data to the developers, put Waze into debug mode by entering "2##2" into the navigation search box and hit enter. Then, let Waze do it's thing as you have noted above. After that trip, make sure to upload logs again. You can exit debug mode by entering the same code again. (It's a toggle.)
After you submit logs, go to the Support page, and fill out the nanorep QuickHelp form, using the Email link. Give some details as you've done here and note the date/time you uploaded the logs. This should help them find and squash this error.

Probably location specific. It works great for me.stickytree wrote:bumpstickytree wrote:Any chance that the auto day/night mode bug will be fixed. It seems to think its still night until mid morning. It seems to work ok at the end of the day.

Why is this important? Why is perlin going to Wake up in the middle of the night to check for your PM?bz2012 wrote:Also sent a PM to perlin. Still in the outbox.

It's still there. Minimal allows you to select the various voices from the other settings menu. I think in General.ohiostmusicman wrote:Is there any reason they removed the voice type option and only kept the Full/Minimal option?

Yes, minimal is all pre-recorded sound files, which is why the street names cannot be included.OldGnome wrote:It sounds to me as though the recordings are more phrases than words or phonemes. If that is true, there would be separate recordings for Minimal vs. Full.ohiostmusicman wrote:Ah, ok I figured it all out.
Is it just me or does it seem odd that there aren't the same settings for all the None/Minimal/Full Guidance options? I think that the voice type should be an independent option from the guidance options. Just my two cents...

To be clearererer: turning off voice commands will not stop the blanking, but turning the feature to 3-finger tap only will do it.jasonh300 wrote:You can turn off the proximity sensor in the voice recognition options.

The bug is currently alerting in meters instead of feet.jkuruppu wrote:i'm not sure if it was an upgrade with 3.5.1 specifically, or before that, but in the last month or two i notice that the warnings of upcoming accidents, police, speed traps, etc are way too far away
