A search of wikipedia for a given city should give you the county name, then a google of "<county name> county <state name> property search" will generally bring back as the first hit the county auditor/assessor/local equivalent. This is the office that is responsible for tracking addresses and property taxes. Everywhere I've ever tried this will take you to a GIS system where you can find all kinds of good info on houses.

So how are you sending requests to correct house numbers to Bing?

When I get an error with house numbers, I often send a report to bing ... they usually correct it in less than a month

The "new" editor seems to be updated and House Numbers can be added now. Next to the "General Tab" there is a new tab "House Numbers". I did a few in my neighbourhood.....

Not sure if there are still points for adding house numbers :)

Not at the what? The points shown for house numbering are probably from the old cartouche. Not quite sure what happens to points from numbering in WME.

In my country, atleast in some areas the house numbering does seem to work.. When I put in a different number it navigates to a different place in the street.

House numbers have no affect on navigation or routing. If you are being routed to the wrong location for an address, it is most likely due to Bing providing the wrong coordinates for that address, and you need to get Bing to correct the GPS coordinates.

I don't like a lot the idea to make my waze configuration more complex by adding an interface with bing, and as we can see, bing is not collaborative and the updates can be slow.
So, anyway, at the end of the road, after searching answers in the forums ...... , I remains with those 2 questions :
- Is there any help on-line to configure the interface waze-bing on the phone (I have not found one) ?
- When will waze fix its editor to manage the street numbers again ? (I hope they didn't simply thrown this away ....)
another question : is it a issue specific to the "world" site or is it also the same for the "normal" one too ?
Best regards, Herve
