How to create a new favorite entry?

Post by DaveNorton
Hi Wazers!

(First post. If it's in the wrong location, please move.)

I want to add a new Favorite when running the Waze app. And I'm not sure how to do it. I thought I could just select Add favorite, then somehow chose a "select my location here" and call it what I like. But apparently, a Favorite is something that must be searched, found and added.

In my case, I wanted to add the Northrop Grumman site in Palmdale, CA as a favorite (since when I tried searchng on it, Waze couldn't find it). So I parked in front of the entrance gate, and tried to enter "Add Favorite". But, no dice.

Is what I want to do possible? Have I included enough info?

Thanks!

That looks like it's what I want to do! Thanks. I'll give it a try when I can get to my phone.

I'm still a little new to the whole smart phone thing. And sometimes the intuitive thing is not always obvious to me. I'm a little old, and still learning. :)
