Turn off movement when stopped

Post by pismo10
How on earth do I turn off the incredibly annoying function that occurs every time I stop. The map starts jumping around showing me jams, police, etc from all over the place, not on my route. Useless and annoying. How do I turn it off?

You can reduce the event radius to 5 miles, but that is all. You will get these notifications when stopped.

I concur w/pismo10.

How can i get Waze to stop showing local events when my vehicle stops?!?!?
It's very distracting! When I stop at a traffic light or pause in traffic, I want to see where I am, where I'm going and what's directly ahead. I don't care that there's a slowdown on a nearby road that I'm not even going to be driving on!!

They need an event radius of zero which turns this feature off.
