Lvl 5 unlock: Chesapeake. VA

Post by JohnnyLaw66
I have an update request for a "Turn not allowed" onto a parking lot road. The minor highway needs to be split into a divided highway (which is not locked), however the parking lot road that created the UR is locked to level 5 so I cannot allow the turn. Could someone please unlock this so I can get it all properly configured?

Thanks for your assistance.

I installed both scripts. Based on my WME and rottie's instructional video, it looks like the node fixer is under highlight's advanced options which I don't have access to. I'm trying to be a better editor. Any suggestions?

Please read this part of the wiki: http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Best ... g_practice

Specifically the section: When (Not) to Split a Two-Way Road

In my opinion this road does not need to be split, as there is no gap at 100m zoom and no U-Turns are required that I can see. There was just a single turn restriction which was incorrect, so I went ahead and corrected it.

I went ahead and unlocked the segment anyway, and several other parking lot segments around as there's no reason for parking lot segments to be locked. The roads here could use quite a bit of junction work, as many of them seem to have reverse connectivity, etc. The Highlight and Node Fixer scripts can help you out here, and the bonus is they help the maps out and at the same time pull in points pretty fast. Keep "Show Connectivity Arrows" on while you do this, so you'll see any existing turn restrictions as you'll have to restore them when you fix a junction.

Have fun!
