For the next year (and many more) I hope to see a lot of new Wazers in The Netherlands, partly because of my edits (and of course the radio interview I did;-)). As you can see, I am more of an editor than a driver. I expect my ranking to drop in the next year because of that. Too bad I never made it to the top 10 (11th was my best).

I forgot my 2nd anniversary...

The new editor has caused me to be able to enter the top 10 (world server), even raised till 7 for a while. As you can see, I handled about twice as much UR's this year. Thankfully this is caused by a much larger userbase in NL. During rush hour, hundreds of Wazers are visible in our little country.

Also, the number of forum posts has doubled as well... This is not a good thing... Keeping up with the forum is taking away lots of precious editing time...

Going from the top:

- points have almost doubled, reached the million mark a few weeks ago.
- Edits have risen, even though it is hard to find quality editing time due to more activity in the forums, a new baby in January and other hobbies.
- alerts: stable
- paved kms: almost nothing to pave anymore around here.
- kms: stable
- URs: more due to more users, less due to a more mature map, so these even out. This year I finished checking and naming all roads in my province, 3240 square kms, and all connectivity. What is left is a lot of KISS work.
- forum posts: way to many, takes too much time that could be spent editing...
- house numbers: not sure if the new ones are counted in the dashboard. I don't spend time on them because Waze is looking if they can import official government data where coordinates for every single address is available.
- cookie meters: in NL, almost all cookies were eaten a long time ago.
- rank: huge drop. Fortunately it is stable during the last months...

Even though I have not been very active the last months, the amount of points per year has more or less been stable. Map updates have decreased a little bit, as have the alerts.

No surprise that the recorded km's have stayed exactly the same. My country is 95% finished, my region about 99%. Existing km's stay the same, around 25k kms. Solved UR's and forum posts show my decreased activity.

Another thing that shows the completeness of our map: I munched cookies for less than 1 km this year.

Last: My rank keeps going down. I no longer spend 1-2 hours a day in the editor, and it shows...

It's been a hell of a year! I'm particularly proud to have gone from nothing to being part of the UK self-management team.

I could not have done this without the help and support of all my fellow Wazers, not just here in the UK but across the world. I just hope I have managed to give back a fraction of the support and help I have received.

2 years completed - time for the obligatory comment that you can get less than that for killing someone in some places.

As you can see, my editing pace has slowed down somewhat in the last year - mainly due to much more work involved in UK Self-Management and the editor community. But the UK map is also getting more mature - it's rare to find any sections of untouched basemap now and most areas have at least seen the touch of an editor.

I'm now #7 in the thanks list with 1145 thanks. But that includes thanks on the closed forums, so that figure only shows for Global Champs (I think). When not logged into the forum, I'm #5 with 1047 thanks. As you can tell, I'm pretty active on the forums. ;)

Number of times I've seriously considered giving it all up in the last year - at least 4. Pressure from outside Waze has been fairly intense in the last year, not to mention the pressure of all the things I've committed myself to within Waze. I miss the days when there was nothing I had to do, but could just do some editing when I felt like it.

Number of times I've changed my mind about quitting in the last year - at least 3. But you haven't got rid of me yet.
