Yes. A big big thank you. Again. It is indeed an achievement. We are speaking of the entire world here. Imagine how many segments were updated?

It is even a bigger feeling of being overwhelmed. More than when it was possible to turn off waze in the parking lot and going up to my office to find that my last session was processed and uploaded.

I also second the suggestion of having a count down timer in WME. It doesn't have to be always on, but they could turn it on 15 minutes before running the tile building process.

No no no no :P I want it the other way around ;). I'd like to have an expected freeze time days in advance, where I'll then know I'll need to finish my edits before the timer elapses. For example, I'd like to know *now* that the next update will contain data frozen in "two days at 12:00 GMT" (note it only matters the timestamp of the data, not really when the mapdate is later finished and live), so I could ensure major fixes happens before that time, and that no major changes happens around that time.

It is then ok if the timer changes from 12:00 to 14:00 because they decide to postpone it.

How many times have I thought "oh I can fix this tomorrow" and then in the morning "mapdate with yesterday's data" and me ohhhhhhhhhh shooops

Or maybe just a commit changes to map updates option.
So then you have a Save which is only a buffer (with maybe a day before auto commit) and then a commit which you can hit when your changes are actually ready.

I read about frequent INTL map updates on Waze status page, so, I wonder why my edits saved almost 2 months ago are still not visible on the map.

You might have edited on US server. You have to use world.waze.com.
Or something else happened and just did not save in browser.

I see the map up-to-date on my client (see screenshot below). Please be aware that the world.waze.com/livemap is not update I think since at least the infrastructure migration, but the roads are there and you can simulate a route on the web if you click carefully where the road should be, like this livemap simulation.

Or is there any particular edit that you think is missing?

It's exactly what confused me - I don't see changes on the live map.
Many thanks for explanation.

I don't see the point having to wait eternally to see the changes.
Good luck!

Please go to Tomtom GPS and wait 6 month for every update.

Ooops! Tomtom has updated maps?
