An update is expected in 2 days.
But it seems the GPS layer is more than 3 month old, anything expected for GPS tracks?

Great news updates twice a week will add motivation for mapping.
About the GPS layer, any news or maybe there is a better place to talk about it?

I'm editing in France and Algeria:
In France for example this place in Paris has completely changed in the middle of june
https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=6&l ... TTTFTTTTFT

I'm sure that the circulation is like it is on waze here, but the GPS track are like if nothing was changed. And it is a place with heavy traffic.

In Algeria it is easier to see: there are only a few wazers and a lot of roads do not have any GPS track but I'm sure wazers were driving on them (and sometimes update requests appear but never gps tracks)

It would be great, in algeria where I edit there is often only one driver that was on some roads, and seeing them helps me to know where I should focus.

Hi, I noticed that the updates on our smartphones happens now very often, but I also noticed that the livemap is not updated since months (or not completely maybe).

For example here https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=0&l ... TTTFTTTTFT

I created the road in december, but it is still not visible on the livemap.

Right, I was talking about the world livemap https://world.waze.com/livemap/
It says Last update: 1.27.2013 but it is not true since the last update is from 2012.
It is a problem because if you share your drive, sometimes people cannot see the roads or see wrong roads ...

Kuhlkatz wrote:It is after all our ONLY diagnostic tool.
No as waze introduced features to share our driving sessions and pickup. Those features works on the livemap.

At least US livemap show a difference between a minor highway and a freeway.
On INTL livemap, at 1:54K scale you cannot see a difference between a street and a major highway.
