The scale has changed it's behavior. The wiki page for When (Not) to Split a Two-Way Road says:
A road should be split if:

GPS tracks show a clearly definable gap (blank area) between the color-by-azimuth arrows at the 100m zoom level.
There are now 2 zoom levels that show 100m zoom. (one has the scale bar 2x longer than the previous zoom level) Can someone confirm the correct zoom level and update the wiki? I don't remember what it was in ft (maybe 200ft - not positive though)

In all of the URs I've looked over, I've almost always found something that makes me say 'Oh, man. Yep. That's just wrong, and that's why the route did that.' The automated UR is finding things that in an ideal world, a user would report, but they don't always.

So, thank you, Waze! :D :!:
I completely concur, I found 11 solid problems of 15 of these I found and closed yesterday. Things like incorrect turn restrictions (often due to a small median in the road), one road that went too far and junctioned with another when it really didn't, a few parking lots marked as Street, things like that.

I think it's a really good tool, I hope to see more of them but I imagine it "queues" them until it reaches a threshold of N users ignored a route etc.. I wonder if the same user gets the same bum route every day, after N days does it report it as this type? We'll see I guess.

You lose the ability to edit in areas you have not driven in over 3 months.
See this thread
I wonder is there a time frame concern on editable area since I've not visited the small coverage area for more than 6 months.

(1) When clicking on any UR, as the map zooms to the location the roads layer is not in sync with the Bing Aerials. I attempt to remedy this by click on the Permalink link, reloading the page, but the layers are still out of sync.

The only workaround is to turn off UR's and Map Problems in the layer list, reload the page, then turn them back on.

I have URO v 1.18 installed on chrome, of that has any bearing on the issue.

(2) Any word on updates to the city layer?

Since the release of the 5 Nov version of WME, the City & Street dropdowns have been behaving very erratic. They constantly fail to populate the actual field if you click on the supplied list for the dropdown. I know that using the TAB key for the selection mostly gets it right, but most editors do not have the patience to always check their work afterwards.
In all the map updates since then, it seems that the city layer also gets more attention, as there are single letter cities sprouting up all over the map.
Even with Tim's Highlighter script, these are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Due to Waze's lack of a dedicated Suburb field, some of us use a mix of "City", "Suburb' and "Suburb, City" naming for the streets as opposed to just the City. This creates a very colourful, yet useless City layer in the editor itself.
WME really needs a way to allow us to choose a single city to show the layer for. This will ensure that we can easily see boundaries for dud city layers, or just ensure that we can verify existing City or Suburb boundaries.

porubcan wrote:Hello Alan, guys,
after creating new landmark, default city+country is displayed until save. but after save and clicking on the landmark again it states no address instead of previously displayed values.
Before I only seen it reported on our forum, today I was able to reproduce it - this Gas Station.
It was mentioned before.

I don't see any use adding numbers on the current system if it will change again to a pinpoint system.

Hopefully they will be able to restore / retain the pinpoint numbers entered via Cartouche.
