Blank editor in Chrome

Post by khaytsus
Ever since last night, I haven't been able to use Chrome for the editor. I initially disabled all extensions and cleared cache, and today I tried a new incognito window. Nothing.

I've tried logging out and back in, Live Map, Edit etc.. not typing anything in manually, etc.. Always the same thing. Firefox is working fine, same computer.

Using Chrome Version 24.0.1312.52 beta on Fedora 17, 64 bit.

This is what I get... First, javascript console:

Uncaught ReferenceError: Microsoft is not defined
WME-ccdf17c7.js:1
Failed to load resource
https://ecn.dev.virtualearth.net/mapcon ... ?v=7.0&s=1

Screenshot (right click and View Image if you want to see the whole thing, since for some reason Waze forum doesn't put scrollbars on mages). or here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/334233/Waze/blank.png

Hi All

I have edited Maps in Waze before and want to add more changes but when I select Update Map I get the error message: HTTP- 404 Not found.
I'm using Chrome on Win 8 and Internet Explorer 10 I receive the same message in both browsers.
below is the link that i'm diverted to when selecting Update Map.

Using Chrome
https://world.waze.com/editorlon=334098 ... 91.6655283

Using Internet Explorer 10
http://world.waze.com/cartouche?lon=755 ... 32.8363656

Is there something wrong with the page? if not can someone assist me to get in to edit?
Thanks in advance for assisting

Question mark is missing in the url between editor and lon. It works even if you copy the url and fix it manually.

I just refreshed Chrome and it loaded... Not sure if I'm lucky or it's been fixed.

EDIT: I have no aerials. Ahem.

The locker in my chrome is ok with an exclamation mark as it says the site is mixed with some untrusted content, VirtualHeart shows a green locker for me, so its certificate is ok, but can't edit on chrome!

Win7 6bbits, latest chrome...

I've had no trouble with that issue for weeks, and still don't. Check your address bar -- is there a gray shield on the right-hand side of it? If so, click the shield and tell it to "Load anyway" -- that should get you back on, if it's the same problem that we had a couple of months ago.

Yeah, that was the one that was the problem a while back. Not sure what your issue might be, then ... I'm having no problems with WME on Chrome (version 23.0.1271.97 m).

If you go to the requested virtualearth url manually and accept the certificate (which isn't recommended just in case something nefarious has happened) then the map editor works. This is something that virtualearth need to fix on their end.
Genius! This worked for me. Thanks
Having the same issue, but cant figure out how to do what you describe above. could anyone assist in by a more detailed instruction?

Thanks

I got it to work, first I pasted a link manually something found in the console like:
https://ecn.t2.tiles.virtualearth.net/t ... g=1135&n=z

That created the security question that I had to choose continue.

Once through that, I had to click on the red-crossed "https" symbol and view the certificate.
Then I exported the "ironport cert, and later imported it as a trusted pbulisher cert.

Seems to work now.
